University of Calgary Research Fellowship in Peace Studies

The Consortium for Peace Studies at the University of Calgary is pleased to announce the
Second Annual Research Fellowship in Peace Studies for 2007-2008. This Fellowship is held at
the University of Calgary and can range from two to eight months. A stipend of $5,000
(Canadian) is associated with this Fellowship. This Fellowship is open to all disciplines so long
as the research is directly related to peace, peace studies or conflict resolution.
The Consortium for Peace Studies is an interdisciplinary organization at the University of
Calgary devoted to enhancing teaching and research in peace studies (see
www.ucalgary.ca/~peaceuc). Membership is interdisciplinary and the consortium unites peace
researchers in all fields of studies.
The successful Fellow will be expected to conduct independent research while at the University
of Calgary and give a public lecture on his or her research as well as an occasional seminar. An
office will be provided by the Calgary Institute for the Humanities. For further information and
